Will my conservatory turn yellow after so many years?

No. Yellowing or pinking as it was known has largely been eradicated. Our 10 year guarantee covers any discolouration of the UPVC.

Will I need planning permission?

In most cases you will not need planning permission, however should we after survey have any doubt regarding planning requirements we will contact your local authority on your behalf.

Is the online price the final price I will pay?

Usually, all prices are quoted subject to a site survey. 80% of the time your online price is the price you will pay.

How long will my conservatory last?

With regular maintenance and cleaning your conservatory should last a lifetime.

Do you have a guarantee with your conservatories?

All of our conservatories come with a 10 year guarantee. For more information on our guarantee please contact us.

Will my conservatory survive really bad wind?

Yes, at M & R Conservatories we use the best roof and framing systems on the market. See our product demonstration.

Do you use commission paid sales people?

No, all enquiries are dealt with by Roy or Mike. Both of whom are principles of the company.

Do Building Regulations apply to my conservatory?

In most cases a conservatory on a residential property is exempt from building regulations.

I want a style that is not shown on your website can you supply it?

We will be happy to quote you for your bespoke conservatory and to show you examples of previous projects.

Will my conservatory be cold in the winter?

All conservatories require some form of heating in winter. We will be pleased to suggest suitable options.

Will my conservatory be too hot in the summer?

If your conservatory faces south it may be advisable to consider 'solar control' roof panels in polycarbonate or glass.

Can I fit my conservatory myself?

We will supply material and details for DIY installations.
